AUTOMATIC CNC DRILLING, MARKING AND CUTTING SYSTEM FOR PLATES

TIPO, the combined CNC lines have been designed with the aim to integrate all the functions which are required in plate fabrication.

The ability to start with raw material and end with the finished part after completion of all the necessary operations such as drilling, milling, punching, marking, scribing and cutting the part to the desired size and shape is what makes these range of products truly unique.

TIPO A

The Tipo A lines can carry out in one step the main operations required in the steel construction industry such as drilling, milling, pointing, tapping, marking, scribing and plasma/oxy cutting

TIPO B

The CNC line model TIPO B consists of a closed bridge press frame that includes a punching head, drilling head, tool changer, marking unit, plasma cutting unit and an oxyfuel cutting unit that is capable of processing plates from 6 mm to 100 mm in thickness and up to 2540 mm in width.

TIPO C

The TIPO C range is a flexible CNC centre for punching, marking, drilling, boring, milling, tapping and high definition plasma cutting of large plates.
TIPO C line is capable of complying with the requirements of both traditional steel fabricators and all types of industry requiring detailed components in steel.

TIPO G

TIPO G is thermal cutting, marking, drilling, tapping, milling, bevelling and more, all on one line with unprecedented accuracy: the complete plate working solution for all needs.

With the new TIPO G series, we have designed an innovative system for the processing of plates suitable to combine the advantages of the fixed plate solution with the ones of the mobile plate solution, enhancing therefore the quality of both.

TIPO B

Up to 14 different punch tools available.
High performance spindles with servo drive feeding and spindle designed to fully utilize carbide tools.
Oxy-fuel and Hi-Definition plasma cutting systems.
Guaranteed accuracy with rack and pinion positioning and measuring systems on stock material regardless of the edge condition of the stock plate.
The dual carriage system eliminates the potential of horizontal clamps collapsing the skeleton.
Irregular stock plates or remnants can be returned to stock and later utilized without having to make a square cut to start the CNC process.
The dual carriage system permits virtually the entire stock length to be used to minimize scrap.
Guaranteed accuracy regardless of rust and mill scale.

TIPO G

Auxiliary axis to allow all operations within the axis’ working area to be carried out without moving the plate.
Special hold-downs fitted on the drilling units to keep the plate in position during processing, avoiding vibrations that could comprise quality and tools life.
Automatic pieces unloading which makes TIPO G ideal also for the production of small and medium size plate.
Remote diagnosis is possible through a network connection that allows our service team to perform routine checks.

Options

Marking Unit

The marking unit is suitable to mark the upper side of the plate and its cross positioning is obtained through the Y axis.

It is fitted with a disc holder for characters whose rotation is CNC controlled by means of a servomotor.

Scribing

Device for automatic scribing operations through drilling unit. This device is supplied with a special tool and a self-adapting system, which is automatically adjusted according to the material deformation.
